I had the chance to travel to Nairobi last week for my client Yingli Solar. They opened the first of 20 upcoming projects in Africa where they sponsor solar panels to light the soccer fields at night. The supported project called MYSA is there to get kids from the slums to the soccer center to play and train there. The lights will give them additional three hours per day to play together. I was talking to some of the kids afterwards and they told me they felt like in a Champions League Final with the floodlights, the flashes from the camera and the VIP guests :)
